4 November 2008: Sugababes Behind The Counter
The Sugababes today were on hand and serving customers at the brand new Boots store, Westfield, in London this afternoon.
Sounds crazy we know but it’s all in aid off the White Ribbon Alliance who will be in line for some hefty donations from Boots. It's the next stage in the Babes partnership with Boots who recently teamed up on their ‘Girls’ single by selling
the single in-store and donating a portion of sales to the charity. And from next week (Nov 5) watch out on the TV when a Christmas Boots advert comes on….we think you’ll notice a difference as the original Ernie K Doe version of ‘Here Come The Girls’ has been replaced by the Babes killer re-worked hit single ‘Girls’.
The White Ribbon Alliance works tirelessly to prevent needless deaths through childbirth. Tragically, every minute of every single day, a woman dies during pregnancy or childbirth, with 99% of these deaths occurring in developing countries. For more info go to http://www.whiteribbonalliance.org/
